With all the turmoil we see everyday and the doom and gloom in the financial markets I am shocked at how many buyers are still making the same mistakes. Buyers need to look at a bigger financial picture when they are buying thier home. Qualifying for a home loan is all about income and debts but success financially is all about the habits you make. Wealth has nothing to do with your income and everything to do with your tendencies towards saving versus spending. Heck... spend 50K less on your next home and buy the Nissan instead of an Infiniti and see how much easier it becomes to save for your kids college education and paying off those credit card debts.
