Forbes Magazine recently published an interesting visual representation of moving trends. It allows one to visually get a sense if more people are moving into, or out of, a particular county during 2008. Orange County was pretty interesting.
Guess I’m not entirely surprised to see that the interest in relocating to Orange County, during one of the worst housing crisis’s we’ve seen, was not particularly high.
Thanks to Lani Rosales of Agent Genius fame for sharing this interesting tool with us!
Linsey! I LOVED this graph! Thanks for sharing…such a shame too…great weather, great people, lots to do…and US!
Was a fascinating visual! I played around on the site and it’s interesting to see some of the movement in various places around the country. The graph is very dramatic with a lot of the metropolitan areas. Hope to see the pace slow for the ’09 chart!
Ooh that is cool. Red outbound lines go from OC to hip-but-cheaper places. Black inbound lines come from the rust belt. Manifest Destiny.
