Aliso Viejo is a master-planned community bordered by Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel and Laguna Woods. Aliso Viejo is conveniently located halfway between Los Angels and San Diego off the 73 toll road. The 405 and 5 freeways are a bit more of a drive, but are easily accessible as well, via SR133.

Located straight inland from Laguna Beach, residents can hop in the car and have their toes in the sand in minutes by simply taking a short trip down Laguna Canyon.  The proximity to the ocean gives Aliso Viejo wonderful ocean breezes and the early morning and late evening cooler temperatures.

Easy access in beautiful surroundings has made Aliso Viejo a prime choice for several regional and corporate headquarters in industries such as health care, technology, pharmaceuticals, electronic gaming and insurance. Residents and visitors alike enjoy Renaissance Club Sport, Aliso Viejo’s impressive hotel and exercise facility. While these businesses are a great asset to the community, Aliso Viejo still maintains a decidedly suburban feel.

Certainly not just a “bedroom community” though, Aliso Viejo offers residents many choices for entertainment in the centrally located Town Center. A movie theater, upscale dining, casual dining, and shopping are only a short distance from anywhere in the city. A beautiful water fountain and the adjacent Grand Park also make this area a great spot for friends to meet up and for families to relax.

AVCA, Aliso Viejo’s professional management company acts as a master homeowners association, overseeing city maintenance and aesthetics. They are also responsible for many of the community-building activities that take place throughout the year including the very popular 4th of July celebration which draws huge crowds to Grand Park.

As part of the Capistrano Unified School District (CUSD), Aliso Viejo has four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. It also offers private education and is home to Soka University of America as well.
