Laguna Niguel

Laguna Niguel is a fully-developed, master-planned community covering 14 square miles in south Orange County. It is bordered by Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills and Aliso Viejo. The population of over 62,000 enjoys many amenities the city has to offer, including city and county parks which account for 30% of the total land within the city limits. Laguna Niguel’s county parks, Aliso and Wood Canyons Park and Laguna Niguel Regional Park offer visitors nature trails, picnic areas, tennis courts, and beautiful lakes and streams to enjoy. Crown Valley Community Park features an amphitheater, botanical preserve, community pool, and facility rentals.

With 22 different shopping centers and several malls nearby, shopping is abundant.  When all that shopping leaves you feeling a little hungry, Laguna Niguel has dining options to satisfy nearly any craving.

Locals are generally friendly, and this may be due in part to the picture perfect weather they experience nearly all year round. Temperatures in the summer average in the high 70’s and the cool ocean breeze blowing in from off the Pacific Ocean is a welcome relief in the early evenings. Winters are mild with temperatures in the high 60’s.

Set among rolling hillsides, Laguna Niguel offers stunning mountain and beach views around every corner. Orange County beaches are easily accessible via Moulton Parkway, Crown Valley Parkway and Niguel Road. Luckily, the Laguna Niguel Department of Transportation works hard to keep their roads smooth and flowing. For those who prefer to take in the sights on their trip, Laguna Niguel is home to a Metrolink station.

Laguna Niguel real estate has something to offer everyone with homes ranging from condo communities conveniently located close to shopping to sprawling estates tucked away in the San Joaquin Hills. It is part of the Capistrano Unified School District and operates seven elementary schools and one middle school. High school students attend classes in neighboring cities Dana Point and Aliso Viejo.
