And isn't that the point of social media? To engage with others in hopes of taking that connection to a different level? Maybe face-to-face.) It's also a great place to see what's hot right now. Remember when we got that earthquake (last week I think)? People were actually tweeting about the earthquake as it was happening! How wild is that?? But as with any social media tool, I remember to manage my time properly.
