		<description>Twitter&#039;s a pretty neat way to connect w/people on a different level (I&#039;ve actually met some of my twitter connections in-person. And isn&#039;t that the point of social media? To engage with others in hopes of taking that connection to a different level? Maybe face-to-face.)

It&#039;s also a great place to see what&#039;s hot right now. Remember when we got that earthquake (last week I think)? People were actually tweeting about the earthquake as it was happening! How wild is that??

But as with any social media tool, I remember to manage my time properly. Mike&#039;s use of twhirl is a pretty good way to accomplish that :-P</description>
